Anaheim Colony Cares Red Cross Blood Drive began in 2005 right here at our home at 510 N. Clementine Street. It was a presentation at a Realtor meeting by a Red Cross volunteer that left a lasting impression on me and I thought that my neighborhood, family and friends were willing and able to help.

Unfortunately the blood drive became personal when my father’s colon cancer and complications from surgery left him in and out of the hospital the last two years of his very short life.  My father received many transfusions and I, hopefully you too, would love to offer the same opportunity to other families, not only to extend a loved one’s life but I hope that your blood might give them the opportunity to become stronger and heal.
